Cleaning a Liner Swimming Pool

Liner pools require a special touch when cleaning your swimming pool! Due to the fact that high chemical use can cause liner fading or undesired liner problems, we apply chemicals in the proper manner. On a frequent basis it is important to check chemical levels to ensure proper ph levels, alkalinity levels, chlorine levels, and chemical stability. Along with chemical maintenance our crew will brush the algae away with a plastic wire brush, vacuum your swimming pool as needed, skim the surface of your swimming pool, and even clean the skimmer baskets removing surface waste. Lastly, the crew will perform frequent backwash’s to rid bacteria and chemical bi-products in order to keep the filtration system cleaning and operating efficiently.
Cleaning a Concrete Swimming Pool

Concrete swimming pools require a little bit more maintenance during the season. In order to get rid of algae from every portion of the concrete pool we use a metal wire brush that allows us to lift the algae off the bottom surface effectively. Also while vacuuming the concrete pool we use a roller vacuum to allow proper suctions and full range of motion as walls may be shaped differently. The maintenance on filtration systems will be similar to liner pools where waste will be removed for effective filtration in day to day use. In the event that you may have a DE Filter, we will recharge the Diatomaceous Earth swimming pool filter. Proper chemical are added and all chemical levels are checked to ensure proper levels at all times.

From Green To Clean!
From Green To Clean!
This one might take a little bit of elbow grease, but it’s not our first rodeo! We would first like to vacuum the bottom surface to rid any heavy algae and debree, then brush remaining substances of of floor surface and walls to lift algae into the water supply. A tthis point we will apply shock or liquid chlorine to kill free float algae and bacteria. we will then wait and revisit the situation 24-48 hours later to depict our next move!
The Cloudy Pool!
The Cloudy Pool!
Sometimes it’s just the last little bit of effort that changes it all! With this type of problem we frequently see that the PH and Alkalinity can be off. We would make sure that the bottom surface of the pool is completely cleaned and then test the chemicals. If this is a persistent problem, you may even need a filter cleaning or sand change in your sand filter. Now that we’ve laid out all the possible problems, it’s time to clear up that water!
A Green Bottom, But Clear Water!
A Green Bottom, But Clear Water!
In order to perform this task without causing a mess we first advise to fill the water level to the top of the skimmer. After doing this we would vacuum the bottom of the pool in a slow motion, picking up a large majority of the algae and reducing the amount that is released into the water supply. After vacuuming this to the best of our ability we would brush the entire pool to kick up anything we missed and apply shock as needed. this will do the trick! Increase your water levels to normal levels and observe to see if you need another vacuum to clean the last of the dead algae!
Not A Hazy Concrete Pool!
Not A Hazy Concrete Pool!
A concrete color with an unwanted haze? We would begin by using a roller vacuum and increase the water supply to the top of the skimmer level. We would vacuum on waste to remove dead algae from bottom of pool without allowing it to re-enter. we would do this until the bottom surface is completely free of debree, then re-raise the water supply and test chemical level. There will need to be adjustments made to chemical level and with that performed the water supply should purify!
The Orange Tint!
The Orange Tint!
This one is found very frequently, especially after putting large amounts of water into the pool directly from your hose. This can be fixed within minutes (literally watch it before your eyes!) after putting “Iron Out” through out the pool. The iron within the water supply will drop to the bottom and you can vacuum it up immediately resulting is a clarified and pure water supply!
